A few minutes after the first crack ("The Sound of Coffee"), an audible crackle in the Rösttrommel reached its maximum aromatic coffee development - ideal for Single Origin Coffees. At this moment, are fruity, floral notes in the foreground, the beans are ideal for filter coffee. A touch darker roasts produce subdued caramel notes, the coffee is now available for the French Press.

If we weiterrösten and the beans are darker, soon to Second crack is heard. In this moment, the northern Italian roast is reached. Now begins the cell structure to break the coffee beans, but their oils do not emerge. Prepared in a well adjusted espresso machine, one gets the "Golden Cup": semi-sweet like honey, caramel, roasted and slightly bitter with a little acid. This roast is also a fine French-press cup.
